i need help with my boy trouble.. for the boys and girls.?

okay, i really like this guy. i have liked him since january. i have been asking his friend for his email and i think he might give it to me. what should i say to him. i mean he knows i am there but then again he has never talked to me. his friend doesnt like me and i think he is telling me lies that he hates me. why would he be doing that. if you could just answer these two questions it would be a lot of help! THANKX!!
